About the Book
 
In this book, the authors adopted an easy and relaxed style as they reflect on their journey in life. Even though the book does not present the ‘only way’ or ‘the concrete requirements’ pertaining to the issues of starting and conducting the relationships, courtship and marriage, in particular, it provides great nuggets and principles that when intentionally followed will assist many readers to make their relationships lasting and prosperous ones.
 
The intention of the book is to proclaim that marriage is a beautiful institution created by God that brings together people of different genders and backgrounds who need to first learn and understand themselves and then each other in a loving and accepting manner.
 
Once that atmosphere of love and acceptance prevails, it leads to higher heights and joy within a marriage. Marriage is never inherited, it is built. Satan will always throw this and that to destabilize it, but the couple must always and continually be willing to use God-given resources to resist the devil thereby keeping their marriage afloat.
 
Marriage is not for pleasure alone, but there are other critical pillars that must prevail. As you read the book, you will pick up for yourself that which will resonate with you. Who knows, you may have just met that one key thing you needed to know so that your attitude and behaviour towards marriage is more profitable.
