ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Ngobani is a corporate exective with experience in the mining, power generation, fast moving consumer goods and go vernimeni sectats He has experience covering engineering, maintenance as well as supply chainmanagement Amongst others, the author has covered projects that involve the turnaround of ailing teams Noobani holds a BSc in Electrical Engineering, a BCom degree as well as a masters degree in Business Leadership from the University of KwaZulu-Natal and the University of South Africa respectively. He is currently reading for a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) with emphasis on the spirituality of leadership.
Nqobani is an amateur runner and has run a number of marathons, including ultramarathons. He has completed six Comrade Marathons, which is one of the most gruelling marathons in the world covering an estimated ninety kilometres in total.
Nqobani is an ordained pastor and is married to Nomthandazo Makhubu. They have two
children: a daughter Olwethu Makhubu and a son Owenkosi Makhubu. They live in Kempton Park on the East Rand of the Gauteng Province
Ngobani is a conference speaker who emphasises leadership and corporate governance. This is the first book that Nqobani has prepared for readers and he has used his experiences as an avid runner to extract valuable observations as well as life lessons that are applicable to everyday life. These life lessons should resonate with people of varied backgrounds, regardless of whether they have experienced running or not.
